Associate Wealth Advisor

About the Role:
SageView Advisory Group is seeking an Associate Wealth Advisor to join our growing team in our Woodside (Redwood City, CA) office. This is an in-office role where you'll work closely with Senior Wealth Advisors and Managing Directors to deliver a comprehensive, high-touch client experience.
As an Associate Wealth Advisor, you'll help manage client relationships, develop and implement financial plans, and integrate all aspects of wealth management — including financial, investment, tax, and estate planning — into a seamless strategy to help clients achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Senior Wealth Advisor and Managing Directors in managing client relationships.
Develop customized, comprehensive financial plans for clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service.
Implement investment strategies aligned with client objectives.
Coordinate with clients' accountants, attorneys, and other external advisors.
Maintain regular, proactive communication with clients.
Leverage technology tools such as Salesforce (Practifi), Fidelity, Schwab, and eMoney to support client service.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Series 7 license (or ability to obtain shortly after hire).
Series 65 license and/or Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation strongly preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Prior experience in client service, relationship management, or wealth management.
Strong understanding of financial planning, risk management, investments, tax, and estate planning.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Zoom; experience with Salesforce/Practifi, Fidelity, Schwab, or eMoney is a plus.
Work Environment:
In-office position based out of our Woodside (Redwood City, CA) location.
Standard office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with some flexibility based on business needs).
