We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team as Logistics (Freight Forwarding) Sales Associate. This position offers an exciting opportunity to kick-start a career in sales within the logistics industry. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to finding and engaging with potential customers through cold calling and networking.

Responsibilities

 

Identifying Business Opportunities:

‒       Actively seek new business opportunities within existing key accounts, exploring avenues for upselling or cross-selling.

‒       Promote all company products and services for imports and exports to increase sales

‒       Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for business expansion.

Meeting Sales Targets:

‒       Set and achieve sales targets for both revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

‒       Monitor and report on progress toward sales goals, making adjustments to strategies as needed.

‒       Ensure execution of developed sales strategies, objectives, and goals

Customer Support and Issue Resolution:

‒       Provide excellent customer support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of problems to maintain customer satisfaction.

‒       Work closely with cross-functional teams to address customer concerns and improve overall service quality.

Negotiation and Contract Renewals:

‒       Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

‒       Facilitate the renewal of contracts and agreements, aiming for long-term partnerships.

Communication and Reporting:

‒       Keep clients informed about relevant updates, new offerings, and industry insights.

‒       Prepare and present regular reports to management on key account performance and opportunities.

 Team Collaboration:

‒       Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, pricing and legal, to align strategies and deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.

  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, logistics, or a related field preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in international freight forwarding, Warehouse operations with Supply Chain Knowledge and/or relevant logistics sales experience preferred
  • Positive attitude, resilience, and a proactive approach to prospecting and relationship-building
  • Desire to learn and grow within the logistics sales industry, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Excellent presentation, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, team player
  • Prior experience in sales or customer service roles is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability travel up to 30% U.S.

Your base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This allows you to progress as you grow and develop within the position. Your base pay will depend on your skills, education, qualifications, experience, and location.
