Associate Data Analyst, Sales Operations

What's the Short Version?

The Associate Data Analyst role within Sales Operations assists in the reporting needs of the Sales team, and are focused on producing and maintaining both ad-hoc analysis and day-to-day reporting. They collaborate with internal partners to mine and analyze quantitative and qualitative operational and sales data to generate reports and reveal insights that lead to informed business decisions.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Produce and maintain ad-hoc analysis and day-to-day reporting.
• Assist in exploring data files to determine trends and relationships between variables.
• Assist with gathering and analyzing various internal and external sales data to help guide decision making.
• Assist with qualitative strategic projects by conducting independent research and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
• Leverage Excel to mine and analyze datasets, draw valid inferences, and present findings to management.
• Organize and transform information into comprehensible structures.
• Use tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs.
• Assist in gathering operational data from various cross functional stakeholders to examine past business performance.
• Create basic to sophisticated ad hoc report requests; use insights from data exploration to prepare basic visualizations and PowerPoint reports.
• Process reports across multiple internal teams.
• Communicate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements.
• Assist in periodic audits of data within business systems/platforms.
• Work with other reporting teams across the organization to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Download required data and create pre-defined reports as per defined schedule.
• Send out reports to stakeholder group and answers basic questions pertaining to the report.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

What Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics or equivalent experience in data analysis
• 0-1 years Data, Analytics or related experience
• Experience building and using Macros and advance formulas in Excel
• Experience working with disparate data sets, data mining, data/text visualization tools, and creation of dashboards
• Basic knowledge or interest about apps support procedures, concepts and other technical areas
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, must be capable of telling a story that is based on complex data/information to others
• Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies
• Experience with Python a plus

What's Our Offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $32.56 - $38.46 on an hourly basis, depending on experience.

Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.

Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?

Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. Quarterly travel may be required.
