The Role

We’re looking for a curious and process-driven individual to join our Customer Experience (CX) team as a Subscriptions Associate. This is a unique opportunity to support founders and their teams with the core products and services included in our subscription offering—key tools for managing Team, Cap Table, and Company Governance. You’ll play a critical role in scaling this vital area of our business, helping to ensure that our subscription products continue to meet the needs of our growing customer base.

With over 5,000 customers now on SeedLegals subscriptions and that number rapidly increasing, we’re focused on building scalable, high-quality customer support. This role will be central to that mission.

You’ll work closely with customers to resolve queries, improve how we deliver support, and contribute directly to the development of our subscriptions offering.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Reviewing and setting up team agreements, helping founders issue equity, even assisting in appointing directors.
  • Guiding founders through their company Articles of Association and corporate governance ensuring that share transfers and employee offboarding is handled correctly and smoothly.
  • Reviewing and assisting with company Cap Table updates, so that companies on SeedLegals have accurate and up-to-date records of ownership.
  • Continuously improving internal processes by contributing to team projects, developing training and onboarding materials, and analysing support trends to drive scalable solutions.

Your annual starting salary would be between £38,000 - £48,000 depending on your experience.

You may be well suited to this role if you come from a background as a paralegal, company secretarial or governance support role, or any other customer facing or legal operation role (especially within startups, SMEs, or law firms). You should be able to demonstrate experience/interest in the following areas:

  • Experience in a customer-facing, operations, legal support, or SaaS product support role.
  • Strong process-thinking and a desire to improve how things are done.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented and organised, with great time management.
  • Passion for startups, founders, and the early-stage ecosystem.

Experience in the following areas would be beneficial:

  • Prior experience with legal documents, cap tables, or equity tools.
  • Understanding of Articles of Association, Shareholder Agreements, and corporate governance.
  • Familiarity with employment/consultant/advisor agreements.
  • Knowledge of equity events: share issues, transfers, cap table changes.
  • Confidence in reviewing or explaining basic legal documents.
  • Exposure to startup fundraising or option schemes.
  • Knowledge of start-up lifecycle, from incorporation to funding and scaling.
