Job Description

The Role

The role reports to the APAC Head of Product Marketing. It focuses on building frameworks and playbooks for local Sales and Marketing teams. The goal is to implement campaigns that drive awareness, adoption, and retention of GradConnection products. It collaborates with GradConnection Product, Sales, and Operations teams to drive traffic and maintain a consistent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop product marketing value propositions, proof points, and messaging hierarchies guided by customer insights and aligned to GradConnection and SEEK’s brand positioning.
  • Design strategic marketing plans for new product launches to help guide cross-functional teams' execution during the launch.
  • Synthesise customer insights to resolve new product development design.
  • Design product marketing activity to support product exits/migrations by deciding what to communicate, where, when, how, and to whom.
  • Guide local marketing execution teams and participating with the UX design team to maintain consistent product marketing value propositions across all relevant marketing activities and key customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with the APAC Brand team to ensure all product naming is jointly develop with brand architecture and lead the naming design and development.
  • Deliver and optimise product marketing communications tools and collateral for sales and service teams.
  • Share product performance and insights with collaborators, customers, partners, and team members in relevant marketing forums and product management.
  • Collaborate with other teams in Marketing and SEEK across APAC, such as Product, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Commercial teams, including:
  1. Commercial to attract Graduate Hirers.
  2. Operations to plan and run events.
  3. Marketing and Product to get the attention of all Graduates.

The Team

The APAC Product Marketing team develops and implements exceptional product marketing strategies to enable hirers in APAC markets to fully maximise the value of SEEK. This role may have one direct report.

GradConnection has a team of 17 members who work in commercial and operational roles. They work alongside with 14 colleagues from SEEK in Product, Tech, and Marketing. The team's target is to grow the Graduate segment, with team members located in Australia and APAC.

Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of demonstrated expertise in product marketing strategy and as a functional expertise across marketing channels and segments.
  • Consistent record to solve complex problems through data-driven analysis and creative, strategic, and critical thinking.
  • Strong project management skills, effectively balancing priorities, adapting as needed, and aligning tasks with objectives.
  • Collaborative leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, experienced in leading teams and influencing diverse teams, including senior and external partners.
  • Commercially savvy, center on outcomes, budget management, return on investment analysis, and strategy development.
  • Skilled in crafting sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, insights, and training resources.

Other Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Validated experience collaborating with diverse product teams and across geographies.
  • Strong creative problem-solving abilities and a focus on achieving desired outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and cultivate positive team engagement.
  • Expertise in digital and online marketing, including creative development.
  • Knowledge of the graduate job ecosystem (preferred)
