Shaker Recruitment Marketing is now accepting applications for our 2025 summer internship program. Our internship program provides hands-on learning, mentorship, and networking opportunities that will help you build a strong foundation for your future career. 

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team for a 10-week rotation in our Oak Park office. The intern will gain hands-on experience in various financial departments, including: 

Accounts Payable 

• Assist in organizing data for W9s. 

• Handle bill payments

Accounts Receivable 

• Conduct research on credits due to customers. 

Accounting 

• Code credit card bills. 

This internship offers a valuable opportunity for professional growth and exposure to diverse aspects of financial operations. 

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program, pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business 

• Availability to work 32 hours+/week in our Oak Park office. 

• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other common software applications. 

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. 

• Proactive in asking questions. 

• Excellent note-taking ability. 

• Eagerness to learn, grow and develop; open to taking on new challenges and embracing new ways of thinking. 

Duration and Schedule: The Internship program runs from June 2 – August 7 2025. This is a full-time in-person opportunity. Interns are expected to work Monday - Thursday from 8:45 am – 4:45 pm CST.
