About the Role

Side is seeking an experienced Principle/Managing Broker for Florida to play a critical role in supporting our real estate partners, drive market growth, and ensure compliance. Reporting to the Vice President of Broker Operations, you will oversee brokerage activities, develop sales strategies, and expand Side’s presence in Florida while providing leadership, guidance, and support to top-producing agents.


Key Responsibilities


Brokerage Operations & Compliance
  • Serve as the Broker of Record for Side’s Florida operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FREC regulations, Florida real estate laws, and local housing ordinances.
  • Communicate legal and regulatory updates to agents and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with MLS memberships, local real estate boards, and state regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee transaction management workflows, audits, and compliance processes.
  • Act as the escalation point for legal and ethical real estate concerns
  • Participate in continuing education and legal seminars.
  • Represent Side at Florida Realtor Association events, MLS meetings, and industry conferences.


Sales & Market Growth Strategy
  • Evangelize Side’s mission and strengthen its presence in the Florida market.
  • Collaborate with the regional Sales Team to execute go-to-market (GTM) growth strategies.
  • Identify, qualify, and nurture prospective partners through inbound leads, outbound efforts, and referrals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with high-producing agents and broker teams to drive recruitment and retention.
  • Forecast and meet sales targets, ensuring a consistent pipeline of top-tier partners.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, supporting partners in business expansion and change management.
  • Leverage social media to be the trusted real estate expert in the industry for Side and our partners.
  • Travel up to 25% per month for events, market meetings, and partner engagement.


Agent Support & Community Engagement
  • Conduct training sessions, educational programs, and monthly community calls.
  • Support agent onboarding and collaboration with Customer Success teams to enhance partner engagement.
  • Act as a liaison between agents and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication on compliance, industry rules, and transaction best practices.


What Makes you a Great Fit
  • Active Florida Real Estate Broker’s License (eligible to be Broker of Record).
  • 10+ years of Florida real estate experience, with 5+ years as a Principle/Managing Broker.
  • 3+ years of sales experience, including prospecting, cold-calling, and territory expansion.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving real estate partner success.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Deep knowledge of the Florida real estate market and key industry players.
  • Real estate-related sales experience is required.
  • Legal or risk management experience is a plus.
  • Established network of Top Producing FL agents that could be potential partners for Side
