Data Privacy and Regulatory Specialist

We are seeking a Compliance Officer to help develop Sinch’s Ethics & Compliance Program globally. Ethics & Compliance is one of our core pillars of business and we look forward to further supporting the business and enabling ethical business wherever we operate.

As a Privacy and Regulatory Specialist you will work in our Privacy, Tech and Product legal team. Responsibilities include day-to-day support to our business on privacy related matters, refining our policy documents and related processes/controls, driving awareness by providing training and monitoring regulatory developments across privacy, AI and other related areas.  

You will work together with other internal and external experts, within Group Legal and with other areas in the company, and interact with management and staff on all levels globally.

This role is based in the United States and reports to our VP,  Privacy, Tech and Product .

You are a problem solver who has the strategic judgement and the capability to think through complex issues and find practical solutions with the business in mind. You have a  positive “can-do attitude” and enjoy working independently in a fast-paced international environment, as part of a bigger context and a global legal team.

• Proven experience of qualified privacy  and regulatory work,  ideally across multiple regions
• GDPR knowledge

• Experience, or interest in, the emerging AI regulatory field
• Experience from telecommunications or IT industry
• Experience from working in a complex global organization and/or consulting
• A law degree
• A service minded “can-do” attitude

The annual starting salary for this position is between $81,000.00 - $101,000.00 per year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
