The Role
This is a full-time role based in Dallas, TX. As the Functional Lead for Due Diligence, you will be a part of the Investor Services Team and be responsible for collaborating with colleagues across the Sixth Street platform to respond to LP due diligence requests and manage relevant systems. Investor Services is a developing function at Sixth Street and this position will play a critical role in its continued evolution.
Core Responsibilities
Individual will be on the Sixth Street Investor Services team. They will execute on the following primary responsibilities:
- Report to the Head of Investor Services and keep them aware of the status of all deliverables; identify and escalate challenges appropriately
- Actively manage the entire due diligence response process, from content management to proposal writing, proactively fill gaps and problem solve with members of Investor Services and the broader Capital Formation and Strategy team
- Contribute to the business development process by effectively conveying information about the firm and its funds through well-written and effective due diligence materials
- Coordinate and manage timelines for professionals at all seniority levels across the platform to ensure that projects/requests are handled in a timely manner
- Be a “content specialist” regarding firm level and operational due diligence information and work with the broader Investor Services and Capital Formation teams along with other internal teams across the Sixth Street Platform to drive due diligence content creation and maintenance
- Work collaboratively and develop relationships with subject matter experts throughout the company to develop due diligence materials
- Conduct peer review of due diligence documents and investor reports
- Maintain consistency and quality of language and data in content database
- Field ad-hoc questions and requests from investors and internal stakeholders
- Understand and apply compliance policies and appropriately syndicate risk

- LP Reporting
- Investor On‐boarding
- Investor Portal Management
- Creation of controls, checklists, policies and procedures
- Technology onboarding and enhancement projects

Preferred
- Strong academic background, undergraduate degree or higher preferred
- 5-8 years of applicable experience in proposal writing, preferably at an investment manager or financial services firm
- Experience and proficiency with RPF software such as Qvidian, Loopio or Responsive
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
- Experience with CRM systems and investor services systems (particularly Salesforce, and/or SunGard DX) a plus
- Experience in alternative investments a plus
- Self-starter who requires little direction
- Ability to multi-task and maintain composure in a high-volume environment
- Strong sense of urgency; ability to execute efficiently with strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams
- Strong prioritization and project management skills
- Comfort working in a high growth, iterative environment
