How you will contribute to Skroutz vision

We are looking for an enthusiastic Legal Trainee that will focus on various legal matters related to the tech industry, including contract drafting and review, conducting legal research on topics such as intellectual property protection and technology related compliance issues and also managing the legal aspects of contract termination claims and disputes. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to shaping innovative legal strategies and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, which will provide you with valuable exposure to the legal challenges and opportunities that arise in a rapidly evolving tech company. 

What you will be doing

• Collaborating with the legal team and business units in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, customer technology transactions, terms of service, marketing agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
• Conducting legal research on topics such as intellectual property law (including patent, trademark, and copyright matters), corporate and consumer law
• Assisting the legal team in ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Assisting in managing correspondence with regulatory authorities and preparing responses to official requests
• Supporting the preparation of legal documentation for litigation cases and other materials related to ongoing or potential legal disputes 
• Providing day-to-day administrative support to the legal team, including organizing files, tracking deadlines, and preparing legal reports

• Bachelor’s degree in Law
• Master’s degree (LLM or a similar title) in the field of Corporate and/or Commercial Law will be considered a strong asset
• Admission to the Athens Bar Association or to any other Bar Association in Greece
• Strong interest in commercial and corporate law and procedures
• Εxcellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English language 
• Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced and demanding work environment 
• Team player spirit and ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of people
