We are seeking a highly motivated Field Technician in the Palmetto/Fairburn, GA area to join our team and contribute to the deployment, service, and monitoring of our robotic solutions. As a Field Technician, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our products, working closely with customers and internal engineering teams to ensure the successful operation of our robotic systems
- High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree, technical certification, relevant experience or coursework in mechanical, electrical, or software fields is a plus.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations.
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, or software systems, gained through work experience or educational background.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically in fast-paced operational environments.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to troubleshoot and work independently and as part of a team
- Good driving record and reliable transportation to and from job locations
- Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site visits at customer locations between warehouse and manufacturing plant.
- Some extended work hours and occasional shift adjustments for customer needs and observed holiday shutdowns.
Physical Requirements
- This role involves regular physical activity, including standing for extended periods, frequent bending and stretching, reaching overhead, using hand tools, and repetitive hand and arm movements. Candidates should be comfortable lifting and carrying items weighing 50 pounds or more. Full range of motion in limbs and the ability to safely operate tools and equipment are essential.
Responsibilities:
As a Field Technician, you will :
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime to the customer
- Provide exceptional service, timely repairs, and routine maintenance of our robotics solution
- Monitor and observe the operation of customer robot fleets to ensure optimal performance
- Provide feedback to internal teams on customer needs, product performance, and potential areas for improvement
- Provide support to customers during product deployment and post-sales phases
- Assist sales teams in providing on-site demos to potential customers
- Maintaining inventory
- Working across different teams including engineering, customer success, and operations.

Slip Robotics headquarters are located in Norcross, GA, just northeast of the perimeter. This role will be on-site near Palmetto/ Fairburn, GA
