Position Overview: Slip Robotics is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to act as the right-hand partner to the COO, overseeing critical operational functions to ensure the company's successful scaling. This role is pivotal in managing day-to-day field operations, real estate coordination, and customer service excellence. The Senior Operations Manager will also oversee our field leadership team responsible for managing the distributed field technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field Operations Oversight:
- Lead and manage daily field operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, workflows, and procedures that optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate closely with technicians and regional teams to continuously improve operational standards and performance.
- Real Estate Coordination:
- Oversee site selection, lease negotiations, facility planning, and asset management aligned with Slip Robotics' growth and operational needs.
- Coordinate with external brokers, legal teams, and internal stakeholders to manage real estate portfolio effectively.
- Customer Service Management:
- Drive excellence in customer service, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success to develop and manage customer service policies, procedures, and metrics to consistently improve the customer experience.
- Address escalated customer issues promptly and professionally, ensuring resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Mentor, coach, and develop operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Establish clear performance expectations, regularly reviewing and addressing performance to build a high-performing team.
- Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize KPIs, dashboards, and real-time data to monitor operational performance and inform strategic decisions.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks proactively, driving strategic initiatives and corrective actions as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in operations management, ideally within a fast-paced, scaling company.
- Proven experience managing distributed teams and operations across multiple locations.
- Real estate and customer service management experience strongly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to operate autonomously and drive results.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a clear ability to engage effectively with all organizational levels.
