Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Location: North Chicago, IL

Job Type: Contract (possible extension or convert to hire)

Pay: $19.50 an hour

Shift Structure: Monday-Wednesday 8am-5:30pm • Thursday 10am-5:30pm • Friday 11am-5:30pm

The role of the Warehouse Associate: 

-- Perform warehouse job duties such as counting, sorting, and recording of large, heavy-weight stock.

-- Performs warehouse operations on the receiving dock, picks orders, packs orders and/or helps with dock processing and incoming/outgoing shipments.

-- Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments.

-- Counting stock, maintaining, and keeping inventory records.

-- Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock as well as keeping records and documentation on damages.

-- Lift occasionally up to 50 pounds.

-- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.

-- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around.

About the Warehouse Associate: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

-- Exposure to working in a quality and controlled material environment. 

-- Strong Work history 2+ years in previous roles. 

-- Forklift Certification/ Experience a plus

-- Distribution experience a plus; 3PL experience a plus 

-- Demonstrate attention to detail

-- Demonstrate reliability and initiative

-- Ability to work in hot and cold environments. 

-- Ability to lift 50lbs constantly.
