About the role
We are looking for is a Product Owner who will play a pivotal role in communicating the snappi Product Team vision and his/her contribution will impact numerous of snappi clients and internal stakeholders.
What you ’ll be doing
- Develop and articulate a clearly defined product vision and strategy that aligns with the overall objectives of the digital bank, including digital products and the Banking as a Service (BaaS) offering.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the needs of digital banking customers, BaaS partners, and the competitive landscape.
- Oversee the development of features for mobile and online banking platforms.
- Ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience across all digital channels.
- Effectively communicate priorities, objectives, and goals to all stakeholders and ensure their understanding.
- Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team (UI/UX designers, Marketing, Engineers, Risk, Compliance, Security, and other experts) to make informed decisions related to digital banking products.
- Take ownership of and manage the Product Backlog.
- Create business cases, time plans, and other relevant materials, and organize and participate in User Acceptance Tests.
- Monitor and analyze the financial performance of digital products and customers.
- Analyze competitor products and market dynamics to identify areas for improvement.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and assess the feasibility of incorporating new technologies into the digital banking ecosystem.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends in digital banking, and the regulatory framework within which the bank operates.
- Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Business, Finance or Technology or equivalent work experience in the field of Digital Banking or consulting
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in digital financial services
- Good knowledge of retail banking products
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, negotiation, presentation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Keen eye on detail
- Ability in decision making, problem analysis and problem solving
- Excellent organizational skills
- Problem solving attitude
