QA Engineer

This role is ideal for a QA professional, ready to take on responsibilities in manual and automated testing while supporting the ramp-up and knowledge transfer process. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure the quality of the customer's products, with a focus on expanding the coverage of testing.

• Create and manage test cases:
• Develop detailed and reusable test cases for feature, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Regularly update test cases to reflect evolving features and system updates.
• Organize test cases into regression suites for repeated use.
• Conduct comprehensive testing:
• Execute manual regression, integration, and exploratory testing to validate system functionality and identify defects.
• Perform smoke testing to verify critical paths in builds during development and deployment.
• Conduct performance testing to evaluate system reliability, scalability, and speed.
• Participate in security testing activities to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security requirements.
• Support ramp-up and knowledge transfer:
• Collaborate with the current QA engineer to transition existing knowledge and workflows.
• Act as a key contact for onboarding new QA team members and ensuring a smooth transition of responsibilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams:
• Work closely with developers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Communicate testing progress, defects, and risks to stakeholders during sprint meetings.
• Support automation engineers by translating manual test cases into automation-ready formats.
• Document and report testing results:
• Use tools like Zebrunner to log, track, and report defects.
• Generate detailed testing reports and provide insights on testing progress and outcomes.
• Maintain a centralized repository of test artifacts for reference and historical tracking.

• 4+ years of experience in quality assurance, including backend testing and microservice architectures.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Jira and Zebrunner for test management and reporting.
• Strong understanding of regression, integration, and exploratory testing methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure.
• Experience with Git for version control and collaboration.
• Familiarity with scripting for automation or performance testing.
• Background in healthcare, fintech, or AI-driven applications.
