Configuration/Production Manager

SSI is seeking a Configuration/Production Manager to support our customer in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities include:

·       Manage documentation and products to maintain the integrity of configuration control; administer and organize a data repository for documentation and products. Oversee the release process for documentation including acquiring requisite approvals.

·       Work with government client and vendors to develop configuration management plans and documentation; may be called upon to review, edit, and provide recommendations for configuration management plans provided by performers.

·       Use or recommend automated configuration management tools to implement configuration management policies and procedures.

·       Evaluate, assess, and provide recommendations to the Government Project Managers on program objectives and assist in carrying out associated technical and program management responsibilities. Includes technical analyses to define, assess, and monitor program technical aspects to assist with technical assessments of the Government’s requirement’s progress to track program progress and technical risk.

• TS/SCI-Eligible - Currently hold an active TS/SCI or have held an SCI and have been debriefed in the last 24 months.
• Bachelor's of Science in a scientific field.
• Minimum of 10 years of prior experience with configuration management design and deployment.
• Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and/or other equivalent program management tools.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and be independently motivated.

• Acquisition or government program management experience is highly desired.
• ISO 9000 Certified 
• CMMI Level 3
