space150 is seeking a full stack software engineer to join our team. We are seeking curious individuals who enjoy pushing themselves with new technologies, frameworks and programming. Candidates must be located within the Minneapolis/Twin Cities area.
Our Engineers are passionate about software development. Your experience and passion will be applied daily to your programming and the problem solving that comes with it. You ensure a high quality engineering execution and delivery of products at space150.

- We design and develop websites, apps and experiences for a wide range of clients and industries.
- Our products and solutions range from small marketing sites to full enterprise applications.
What we are looking for in our candidates:
- Expertise in React, Node, NPM and Typescript required
- Frontend layout expertise (Flexbox, SASS)
- Experienced with Git/Github ecosystem (Pull requests, branching strategies, etc)
- Experience building native applications with React Native is a huge plus.
- Wordpress experience preferred - we utilize Wordpress for headless content management but also develop WP Themes
- Experience with static site generators preferred (NextJS, Gatsby or others)
- Tight collaboration and strong communication with our designers, project managers and quality assurance teams is essential. We utilize Slack, Google Workspace tools, Jira and Github heavily
- Candidates must be located within the Minneapolis/Twin Cities area
Responsibilities
- Functions as a core developer on one or several projects at a time.
- Collaborates and reviews code with peers to ensure projects will be maintainable and performant
- Ensures that code developed has been thoroughly tested by the engineer before handing off to Quality Assurance
- Assists supervisor with development story writing and estimation tasks
- Ensures that projects developed achieve a precise alignment with creative design and user experience design specifications
- Can dive in on projects that may be outside of skills and learn new technologies and skills.

Qualifications include:
- Degree in computer science, technical education or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a Software Engineer role
- Demonstrable record of successfully launched products
- Competency in several core languages for space150
- Ability to react positively to fast changes and requests
- Communicates effectively on project progress and across disciplines of interaction
- Constant awareness on projects, identifies issues and proposes solutions
- Capable of leaving their comfort zone to learn a new language or framework
- Creates a positive attitude when working with legacy code and/or projects
- Proactively shares relevant technical and industry information across space150
- Must currently be located in Minneapolis / Twin Cities area. Relocation will not be provided.

- Ability to work during space150’s core business hours (9-5p CST)
- Hybrid work environment. Thursday’s are our designated day for in office meetings at our North Loop office.
At space150, we are committed to pay transparency and equity in accordance with Minnesota law. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $105,000 annually. The salary range for this role is based on numerous factors including experience, skills, and qualifications.
