Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Business Development Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a proactive approach to market research, outreach, and collaboration with sales and marketing teams to achieve organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new (mainly government) business opportunities through market research and lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
- Conduct outreach activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events, to generate leads.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective strategies for lead conversion.
- Prepare and present proposals, demonstrating the value of Spaceworx's offerings.
- Track and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities in the CRM system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales in the B2B (government a plus) sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding client bases.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/ G Suite and experience with CRM (Odoo ERP) software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
