    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Motion Designer to join our team full-time. This hybrid role requires 40 hours per week with Tuesdays and Thursdays in office and occasional weekend work for critical projects. As a Motion Designer, you will bring ideas to life through engaging visuals, animation, and video editing, supporting both E-learning and promotional content. You’ll play a critical role in creating top-quality motion graphics, supporting on-set video production, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary creative team.

    What You Will Do:

     

    • Develop motion graphics that align with project objectives and brand guidelines.
    • Collaborate with creative teams to deliver high-quality content across platforms.
    • Research and gather creative materials for motion design projects.
    • Adapt motion graphics based on feedback and stakeholder input.
    • Advise teams on best practices for digital and motion design.
    • Maintain high-quality standards and stay consistent with evolving brand requirements.
    • Design & Animation (50%)

      • Create motion graphics and animations for E-learning videos, promotional campaigns, campus signage, 3D educational content, and web UI/UX.
      • Develop reusable motion templates for editors to streamline projects.
      • Contribute to storyboarding, animatics, and visual concepts for motion design.
    • Video Editing & Post-Production (30%)

      • Edit and enhance video content, including adding motion graphics, compositing, and color correction.
      • Integrate vector assets and maintain consistency with brand guidelines.
    • On-Set Video Production Support (20%)

      • Assist in studio-based or on-location video shoots, including camera operation, lighting, and production setup.
      • Collaborate closely with designers, editors, and content creators to ensure cohesive deliverables.
      • Stay updated on the latest motion design trends and techniques.
      • Research and share creative references and ideas for project development.

    Qualifications

    • Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Adobe Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Cinema 4D.
    • Solid understanding of design principles (color theory, typography, composition) and animation fundamentals (timing, motion, spacing).
    • Experience creating motion graphics templates (MOGRTs) and working with 3D cameras, tracking, rotoscoping, and compositing in After Effects.
    • Ability to adapt to feedback and refine designs to meet stakeholder expectations.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.

    Nice-to-Have Skills:

    • Experience with 3D modeling, rigging, or animation (Cinema 4D or similar tools).
    • Ability to write expressions in After Effects.
    • Familiarity with generative AI tools and prompt engineering.
    • Experience in live production or camera operation.
