The Coordinator, Digital Sales, based in El Segundo, California, drives revenue growth and optimizes digital sales strategies. Reporting to the Manager, Digital Sales, this role is responsible for reconciling forecasts, developing SKUs, and executing promotions, while ensuring alignment with brand objectives and market trends. They play a vital role in maximizing the sales success and customer loyalty across all Square Enix West digital products. This is a nonexempt role.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile forecast with Square Enix West (SEW) P&L to ensure accuracy and alignment with financial objectives.
- Conduct initial discussions with Publishing Strategy on SKU objectives, gathering insights to inform digital sales strategies.
- Review digital best practices for core and new gamers, staying updated on industry trends and consumer preferences.
- Assort SKU components, including post-launch content and pre-order incentives, to optimize product offerings in a way that maximizes sales volume and aligns to brand objectives.
- Evolve pricing plans for non-merch related SKUs (standard & deluxe) and collector's editions to maximize profitability and competitiveness.
- Identify incremental forecast changes based on SKUs, adjusting sales plans accordingly to optimize revenue.
- Plan and execute pre-sell, launch, and sustain programs, coordinating with cross-functional teams for successful product launches.
- Create compelling preorder incentives to drive early sales and generate excitement.
- Provide preorder assets to digital partners, maintaining consistency and alignment with brand standards.
- Identify promotions based on scenario analysis, optimizing the sales potential across market.
- Define promotion schedules and markdown strategies to manage inventory and optimize pricing.
- Plan promotions based on digital best practices, leveraging online platforms for maximum reach and engagement.
- Manage communication to digital channel stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
- Audit promotion and markdown execution to ensure compliance with planned strategies and objectives.
- Analyze sales data in Data Platform Viewer, providing insights on performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Facilitate test-and-learn analysis based on sales promotions, offering insights and recommendations to drive future success.
- Analyze and negotiate with streaming service opportunities to expand brand reach and partnerships.
- Performance Measures: Sales volume overall; sales volume attributable to promotions, markdowns, and SKU assortment; revenue growth; forecast accuracy.
- 2+ years experience in digital sales, marketing, or related roles within the gaming or entertainment industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in execution.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
- Knowledge of digital marketing best practices and industry trends.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in gaming industry negotiation is a plus.

Annual Salary Range: $55,000 - $58,000
