Partner Solutions Architect

We're looking for a Partner Solutions Architect who is passionate about understanding and supporting those partners as they integrate with our products.

As a Partner Solutions Architect you will collaborate closely with the Business Development team, collectively responsible for driving new partnerships and identifying growth opportunities for the company. You will support partners from initial pitching to post-launch by consulting on how to best integrate, and ensuring a smooth integration, launch and post-launch experience.

We're looking for someone who will enjoy working with our technical product suite and contributing to the team's goals through a mix of technical consultations, technical support, writing and maintaining API documentation, and generally supporting third-party stakeholders in all of their technical needs. You will also liaise internally with the product-specific and Platform technical teams to ensure a depth of knowledge of the tooling and to provide feedback from our external stakeholders.

You will report directly to the Senior Director, Business Development and be based out of our NYC headquarters.

You'll Get To...

• Advise business partners on integration best practices with the Squarespace APIs and developer tools
• Help partners troubleshoot advanced issues across Squarespace's extensibility suite through technical consultations, email, and persistent chats
• Manage the integration and certification process with the partner, determining when an integration may go live
• Advocate on behalf of the partner developer community by sharing partner developer feedback to product and engineering to influence roadmap decisions.
• Resolve technical issues by filing, managing and evaluating bugs and improvements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Security, Legal, Marketing, Creative, as well as Product and Engineering
• Help maintain developer facing technical documentation on our Developer Portal

Who We're Looking For

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including 2+ years of Software Development background working with engineering teams, Jira-based workflows and documentation maintenance
• Development experience in Java, Spring, and Git (JavaScript and React a plus)
• Deep understanding of APIs (REST, OAuth), microservices, and databases
• Experience integrating and troubleshooting APIs
• Experience looking into unfamiliar code to gain insight into underlying issues
• Experience describing the structure, characteristics, and behavior of software to assorted team members who consume it
• A desire to interface with partners and act as their guide to all things technical at Squarespace
• Proactive communicator with the ability to navigate ambiguity and collaborate across diverse stakeholders, both internal and external

Cash Compensation Range: $105,000 - $190,500 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
