Staff4Me is excited to announce an opening for an Unlimited Break-Fix Coordinator. In this role, you will take charge of coordinating our Break-Fix services, ensuring that issues are resolved swiftly and efficiently for our clients. Your ability to manage schedules, communicate effectively, and coordinate technical resources will be key to our success.
- Work as a coordinator on the Break-Fix team
- Review the assigned ticket to identify how the Break-Fix team can assist in
- resolution
- Review all other open tickets to identify any other issues that can be solved with
- the same dispatch
- Create a BAP/Platform One order following the UBF process
- Generate a work order and submit to the contractor pool
- Adjust the urgency, description and pricing of each work order to ensure prompt acceptance and technician assignment
- Once a technician has been assigned
- Call technician to confirm he/she has the skills and tools required
- Confirm date and time of dispatch
- Confirm pricing
- Confirm the name of the resource and contact information
- Coordinate a remote technical resource to assist the on-site technician using our booking/scheduling tools
- Update the appointment and ticket as needed
- Communicate scheduling updates to both residents, property staff and
- contractors
- Communicate technical updates to both residents, property staff and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with on-site resources to ensure proper ticket documentation and resolution
- Follow up with on-site resources to confirm attendance and resolution
- Add troubleshooting or other notes to the ticket and close or reassign where appropriate
- Reschedule on-site appointments as necessary
- Assist with working out of our ticket queue
- Scheduling field technicians and remote engineers.
- Calls to both our customers and field technicians for the scheduling process.
- 5+ years of experience in Break-Fix coordination or a similar role.
- Strong experience with Ruckus, Cisco, and HP systems.
- Extensive technical knowledge of hardware, software applications, and networking fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting a variety of hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Proven experience performing hardware repairs and upgrades.
- Solid understanding of network protocols and their configurations.
- Exceptional communication skills, particularly in conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or MCP will be considered a plus.
