As a Lead Product Manager, you will own and elevate our deposit, transfer and withdrawal experiences, driving innovation to deliver seamless, secure, and delightful journeys for clients across multiple regions.
This role is not just about building great products; it’s about redefining how people interact with their wealth. You’ll own the strategy and implementation of one of the most critical areas of our platform, ensuring every transaction feels effortless while pushing the boundaries of what wealth management can offer.
Responsibilities
- Own Payments at Scale: Lead the end-to-end strategy for transforming StashAway’s payment systems and customer-facing experience, ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable solutions for deposits, transfers and withdrawals across all our markets
- Redefine Client Journeys: Design and launch innovative experiences that make complex financial processes intuitive and rewarding
- Bridge Business and Technology: Collaborate deeply with engineers, designers, and department stakeholders to transform technical possibilities into impactful client solutions. This involves driving our payment squad, supporting strategies across other squads, as well as being able to deep dive in the details with the preparation of well-formed product development requirements and leading implementation processes
- Drive Cross-Regional Excellence: Align product strategy with diverse client needs across multiple geographies, ensuring we deliver exceptional value everywhere we operate
- Mentor junior product managers. Living our core values day in and day out to set examples for other members of the team.
- Payments Expert: You bring experience in payments, with a strong preference for expertise in banking integrations or similar areas
- Experienced Leader: While we're flexible on years of experience, candidates with 7+ years in product management have typically excelled in similar roles at this level
- Exceptional Communicator: You effortlessly bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences, provide clear and actionable feedback, and confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
- Collaborative and Resilient: You thrive in tackling multi-domain challenges, staying composed under pressure, and fostering transparency and collaboration within teams
- Innovative Mindset: You have a passion for exploring emerging technologies and leveraging them to exceed customer expectations and push the boundaries of product innovation
- Comfortable with Ambiguity: You excel at navigating uncertainty, breaking down complex problems, and rallying teams around clear priorities and outcomes
- Passionate About Investing: A deep interest in wealth management and investing drives your commitment to improving client experiences
- Proven Mentor and Manager: You’ve successfully coached or managed Product Managers, fostering their growth and aligning team efforts with business goals

- Customer satisfaction: preventing and reduction of deposit, transfer and withdrawal related issues stemming from customers
- Commercial success: driving an increase in payment success rates and reducing payment related operational costs
- Operational efficiency: in line with targets, constantly aiming to reduce processing time and achieving error free transactions across systems
- Strategic impact: successfully delivering strategic product initiatives that are aligned with business objectives, driving measurable impact on user engagement and revenue
