Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customers’ manufacturing processes and design solutions based on their needs.
  • Perform sales demonstrations and recommend product configurations.
  • Provide strategic technical advice and ongoing client support during implementation.
  • Collaborate with the sales department and facilitate professional training classes.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Technical degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related IT or Business Process Management field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Several years of professional experience in discrete manufacturing or the process-industry.
  • Strong practical knowledge of shop floor operations, including Lean Manufacturing principles, IIoT, and OEE.
  • Experience with manufacturing-related software solutions (e.g., MES, CAQ, BDE, MDE or similar systems).
  • Technical software expertise paired with creative playfulness to create great demos.
  • Solid understanding of business management fundamentals combined with a customer-focused, sales-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in MES or other shop floor systems, knowledge of ERP systems, and Machine CNC/PLCs.
  • Fluency in English required; other foreign languages (i.e., Spanish, German, etc.) a plus.
  • Empathy and strong interpersonal skills to understand customer perspectives.
  • Advanced customer leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality regarding business and client information.
  • High-level communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of audiences.
  • Advanced ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and partners.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
