The Paid Media & Acquisition Specialist will work with a global team to challenge the status quo while building the global Student.com brand with an emphasis on engaging and informative content, driving an unparalleled student marketplace experience.

Key Objectives of the Role
Job Purpose:
The Paid Media and Acquisition Specialist will work closely with the Head of Performance Marketing to execute and support paid media and content initiatives across global and market-specific accounts. This role will assist in managing daily paid media activities, including ad creation, scheduling, reporting, and optimisation with the wider business to elevate Student.com’s online presence. The specialist will also focus on paid social campaigns in collaboration with the Social Media & Content Specialist.
The marketing team is growing and we are looking for talented people who are passionate about helping students through their educational journey. Key Responsibilities
● Paid Media Management:
○ Collaborate with the Head of Performance Marketing on paid media and acquisition strategies to increase website traffic and enhance conversion rates
○ Plan and deliver paid media campaigns across a variety of platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads and TikTok Business
○ Produce regular campaign reporting with targeted follow-up actions to continuously improve campaign performance
○ Contribute to the production of optimised campaign landing pages
○ Collaborate and align the paid acquisition strategy with external agencies.
● Collaboration:
○ Work with the wider business to ensure activity aligns with broader brand and business goals.
○ Regularly collaborate with the Partner team to understand property supply, availability and priorities.
Key Performance Indicators
1. Grow traffic the student.com website across multiple channels/networks
2. Drive regular and consistent website conversions
3. Contribute to enhancing student.com’s brand visibility and industry presence.

Essential:
● Proficiency in paid ad platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta Business and TikTok Business.
● Understanding of website analytics, data and behaviour. Google Analytics or similar.
● Solid experience in paid media management or digital marketing.
● Strong writing and content creation skills, with an eye for design.
● Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
● Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
● Competency in g-Suite applications
Desirable:
● Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
● Understanding of SEO best practises and concepts.
● Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools is a plus.
● Knowledge and Experience with Chinese Advertising platforms.
