Shopify Developer & eCommerce Specialist

Substance is seeking a skilled Shopify Developer & eCommerce Specialist to join our client’s team. In this dual role, you will leverage your technical expertise in Shopify development while also employing your strategic understanding of ecommerce to create outstanding online shopping experiences for our clients. Your work will directly impact product visibility and sales performance through the use of cutting-edge solutions tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shopify Development: Design, develop, and customize Shopify stores, from theme installation to extensive functionality enhancements ensuring optimal user experience.
• Ecommerce Strategy: Analyze client needs and market trends to develop effective ecommerce strategies that drive sales and increase conversion rates.
• SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices throughout Shopify sites to enhance online visibility and attract organic traffic.
• Integration Management: Integrate third-party apps for payment processing, inventory management, and analytics, ensuring seamless functionality across platforms.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on site performance, user engagement, and sales data, providing actionable insights to improve ecommerce strategies.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and provide expert advice on product presentation and marketing efforts.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, ecommerce technologies, and trends to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of the industry.

• Bachelor's degree in Web Development, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Shopify development and ecommerce management.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language for Shopify.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce principles, strategies, and user experience optimization.
• Experience with SEO best practices and tools for improving search rankings.
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into strategic improvements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective client interactions and team collaboration.
• Experience with various Shopify apps and integrations is highly desirable.
