We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of our inventory management and end-to-end supply chain operations. Reporting to the Senior Director of Supply Chain, this role is pivotal in ensuring efficient inventory control, vendor management, and seamless coordination with our 3PL and co-manufacturers. This position must be based in Cleveland, Ohio.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Oversee and manage finished goods inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet demand without overstocking.
- Develop and execute inventory strategies that balance cost efficiency and service levels.
- Issue and manage purchase orders (POs) to co-manufacturers to maintain supply continuity.
- Utilize our 3PL’s OMS and Sigma to track, report, and optimize inventory operations.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and ensure accuracy between physical stock and system records.
- Lead and improve S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes, including running reports in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Vendor & Logistics Management:
- Manage relationships with 3PL partners and co-manufacturers, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, optimizing freight and logistics to minimize costs and delays.
- Monitor and maintain supplier performance metrics, addressing any issues proactively.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency across the supply chain.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain supply chain reports using Excel (Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas), Google Sheets, and Sigma.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy, fulfillment efficiency, and logistics performance.
- Generate and analyze reports to support demand planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement:
- Work closely with internal teams including Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to align inventory needs with business objectives.
- Assist in continuous process improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies in supply chain operations.
- Provide insights and recommendations on how to optimize inventory turnover and reduce excess stock.
- Light travel required for supplier and partner visits.
We'd love to hear from you if you have: - 5+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or procurement roles, ideally in pet, food, beverage, perishable goods, or CPG industries.
- Proven experience managing $30M+ in inventory.
- Strong Excel skills – must be able to build and analyze Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and other advanced formulas.
- Hands-on experience with PO creation and management.
- Familiarity with WMS, Sigma, or similar supply chain management systems.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including demand planning, procurement, logistics, and fulfillment.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive insights.
- Experience running S&OP reports and contributing to S&OP planning cycles.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, growing environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal teams.
