We are seeking a Key Account Manager for Lithium Business Development  in the Defence sector who will be responsible for exploring new business opportunities in various market applications, building and maintaining relationships with part of our current clientele  as well as having the project management overview with the internal stakeholders. The role is a primary asset to the growth of our business by identifying customer needs, exceeding client expectations and working closely with various business departments. 

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Business development by seeking out new accounts and opportunities
  • Develops sales strategy that covers sales, revenue and expense controls for new and the assigned accounts
  • Measures, tracks and analyzes key account metrics and create reports for internal use
  • Participates in the development and monitoring of budget
  • Collaborates closely with internal stakeholders on providing the best service to our customers
  • Ensures the expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Builds trustworthy relationships with customers, acting as an ambassador
  • Keep abreast with industry and market trends and best practices
  • Identifies business opportunities related to our product portfolio, R&D and production capabilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical)
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales in defense sector ideally in business development
  • Experience in customer relationship management
  • Ability to travel extensively abroad
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek
  • Customer centric mentality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and negotiation aptitude
