The Role

Synapticure is seeking experienced and motivated Phlebotomists and Medical Lab Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will provide vital support to patients by conducting mobile research visits across central and west coast United States. You will be responsible for performing blood draws, collecting medical specimens, processing samples, and providing exceptional patient service during home visits. This position offers the unique opportunity to make a direct impact on groundbreaking treatments through hands-on patient care and operational support. You will be coordinating travel to locations across the country where you will complete in-home research blood draws and specimen processing. 


Job Duties – What you’ll be doing
  • Schedule and complete mobile visits with study participants within assigned timeframes.
  • Book travel to locations needed to conduct mobile visits
  • Process specimens (e.g., centrifuge, pipette, freeze) according to study protocols.
  • Package and transport specimens to designated shipping locations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient visits, including source documentation and follow-up procedures.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel to ensure study integrity and patient care excellence.


Requirements – What we look for in you
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in phlebotomy and blood draws in diverse patient populations, including patients with challenging venous access (within the last 6 months preferred).
  • Experience collecting vital signs, urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests.
  • Excellent customer service and professionalism when working with patients. 
  • Skilled in maintaining detailed and accurate patient records, including medical history and medication charting.
  • Current CPR certification and valid TB test.
  • Willingness to travel frequently by air to multiple locations per week.
  • Licensed driver with a clean driving record and up-to-date automobile insurance, compliant with state and agency requirements.
  • Strong observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills.

Travel Expectations
  • This is a traveling role with. This position requires frequent travel to multiple states and cities each week to complete patient visits, including traveling by plane and driving to designated locations. Candidates must be comfortable with travel logistics and handling specimen drop-offs at local shipping sites. 


$52,000 - $75,000 biweekly
