The Role:

MIYO Health is seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Support Specialist to play a crucial role in driving our sales growth. This role will provide essential support to our sales team by generating leads, nurturing prospects, and facilitating communication with potential clients, primarily within the education sector. Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Calling (Schools): Proactively contact schools (administrators, teachers, etc.) to introduce our [product/service], qualify leads, schedule demos for the sales team, and gather information about their needs.
  • Email Marketing: Execute marketing email campaigns, including list management, email creation, scheduling, and performance tracking. This includes A/B testing and analyzing results to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • LinkedIn Outreach: Identify and connect with key decision-makers (e.g., principals, superintendents, technology directors) on LinkedIn. Engage with prospects, share relevant content, and nurture relationships to generate qualified leads.
  • Lead Generation & Research: Utilize various resources (online databases, industry publications, LinkedIn, etc.) to research and identify potential leads within the education market. Maintain accurate records of leads and their contact information in our CRM.
  • Sales Team Support: Provide general administrative support to the sales team, such as preparing presentations, proposals, and other sales materials. Assist with scheduling meetings and managing sales-related documentation.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities (calls, emails, LinkedIn interactions) in our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation, outreach activities, and campaign performance. Provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and marketing team to ensure alignment and achieve shared goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales support, marketing, or customer service is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a professional phone manner.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
  • Experience with LinkedIn outreach and networking.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the education sector is a plus.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and eager to learn.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of technology and the ability to learn new software and platforms quickly.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Sales Support Skills: Strong sales support skills, including prospecting, qualifying, closing, and negotiating.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Time Management: Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.

Work Environment:

  • Travel: Occasional travel may be required to attend conferences, industry events, and client meetings.
  • Remote Work: The position may be remote, but requires strong self-management and communication skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and phone
  • Frequent sitting and standing
  • The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions may require the following physical demands when traveling to conferences or district/school offices for onsite meetings with school partners: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 70% sitting, 25% walking, and 5% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and under conditions with exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.
