What You Will Do:

• Be a thought leader and key contributor within the DevX team
• Independently design and implement thoughtful features and apps
• Mentor junior peers and contribute to the success of teammates via code reviews, to ensure adherence to industry best practices
• Independently own and maintain existing software applications
• Regularly provide support to internal customers and create/deliver training sessions. Author clear and concise documentation to reduce support costs 

• Relentlessly partner with key stakeholders to build consistent experiences at scale

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or CS-related field
• 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
• 2+ years experience with TypeScript as a back-end language used with Node
• 2+ years of hands on experience with Google Cloud Platform (preferred), Amazon Web Services, or Azure
• 1+ years of experience with Postgres or MySQL used in conjunction with Object Relational Mapper libraries
• 1+ years of experience with Python
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with front-end applications
• Command-line experience in macOS or Linux

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Points for:

• Professional experience as a full stack developer
• Recent experience in React
• GCP certification(s)
• Experience using any of the following technologies: Figma, Flask, Node.js, Okta, Slackbots, OpenAI, Jest
• Experience using any of the following tools: Terraform, Concourse, Jira, GitHub, Sentry.IO, VSCode, Docker, DataGrip, PagerDuty
• Deep knowledge of test automation, CI/CD, DevOps, QA, or Scrum
• Knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, or ISO
