Strategy Associate

Role Overview: 

Are you an early-career professional passionate about strategy and financial technology? TerraPay is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Strategy Associate to join our team. This role will provide you with a unique opportunity to contribute to key strategic projects, conduct in-depth research, and develop compelling business cases that drive our global expansion. You will be part of the Strategy team at TerraPay, work closely with Sales to drive revenue expansion, and collaborate across various departments to support TerraPay's mission of building a borderless financial world. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Market Research & Analysis:  

• Conduct thorough research on market trends and competitive landscapes. 

• Analyze data to identify key insights and potential opportunities for TerraPay. 

• Assist in the creation of reports and presentations summarizing research findings. 

• Business Case Development:  

• Support the development of detailed business cases for new products, services, and market entries. 

• Develop bespoke pricing models for TerraPay customers. 

• Assist in financial modeling, including ROI and break-even analysis. 

• Gather and analyze data to support assumptions and recommendations within business cases. 

• Strategic Project Support:  

• Assist in the execution of key strategic projects, providing research, analysis, and project coordination support. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met. 

• Prepare presentations and reports to communicate project progress and findings. 

• Data Analysis & Reporting:  

• Utilize data analysis tools (e.g., Excel) to analyze market trends, customer insights, and financial data. 

• Assist in the creation of insightful presentations and reports to communicate key findings to stakeholders. 

• Support the maintenance of data used in strategic decision making. 

• Competitive Intelligence:  

• Monitor competitor activities and gather information on their strategies, pricing models, and offerings. 

• Collaboration and Communication:  

• Work closely with product, finance, and sales teams to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives. 

• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to various stakeholders. 

Skills, Experience, and Personality: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 

• 2-3 years of relevant professional experience. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Excellent research and data analysis abilities.    

• Advanced knowledge of Excel. 

• Proficiency in PowerPoint. 

• Strong communication and presentation skills. 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.    

• A strong interest in the FinTech and payments industry. 

• Understanding of financial concepts. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Internship related to financial analysis, market research, or strategy. 

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
