Pay / Compensation:
Salary Range: $84,849 – $127,274 annually (based on experience)
As the Nurse Manager of the Mother-Baby Unit, you will provide leadership and oversight for a dynamic nursing team. You'll ensure the highest standards of patient care, manage day-to-day unit operations, and collaborate across departments to support positive patient and team outcomes.
Position Highlights:
Leadership: Direct the daily operations of the Mother-Baby Unit with support from 4 Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs) and relief charge nurses
Patient Care: Promote exceptional postpartum and newborn nursery care, ensuring a safe, patient- and family-centered experience
Team Collaboration: Foster multidisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based practices
Operations: Oversee staffing, budgeting, scheduling, payroll, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency and compliance
Experience:
Minimum of 2–5 years of recent acute care leadership experience in a Mother-Baby unit
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (required)
Advanced degree (preferred)
Licensure/Certifications:
Active Texas RN license or compact RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – Required
