The City of Fort Worth’s Economic Development Department is seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Analyst to provide comprehensive financial and budgetary support, while collaborating closely with internal departments and external stakeholders. This position plays a key role in maintaining the fiscal integrity of multiple Component Units, Tax Increment Financing (TIF) districts, and the department’s operating budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing both historical and forecasted financial data and performing a variety of professional accounting functions, including financial reporting, bank reconciliations, audit preparation, and tax reporting.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with a high level of accuracy and detail orientation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex formulas and pivot tables, is essential. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who works independently, demonstrates initiative, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. The ability to collaborate effectively with the executive team and communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and orally, is critical to success in this role.
