Billing Analyst - Education /Ed-tech sector

The role

We are looking for a Billing Analyst to join our Finance team. As a Billing Analyst  you will support the revenue assurance team by maintaining billing accuracy & customer subscription management . You will

Billing

• Generating billing across multiple subsidiaries through multiple processes
• Ensuring billing accuracy for cash flow & reporting requirements
• Ensuring that all contract amendments, such as change orders and error corrections, are accurately reflected within our billing systems

Subscription management

• Work closely with the Revenue Operations and Sales teams to approve sales in line with internal policy
• Ensuring Salesforce approvals are completed within our team SLA
• Amending and updating subscriptions
• Ensuring customer system access accuracy

Queries

• Reviewing and working to solve any customer billing query within our SLA
• Escalate ongoing issues and/or risks to management
• Work with credit control and Sales if appropriate to answer invoice queries relating to issues with contracts and process any changes
• Review outstanding balances and customer accounts where appropriate

The ideal person

Must have:

• Experience and/or desire to work at a fast growing, but young business
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Excel experience at a foundation level
• Experience of working to deadlines and with non-financial managers
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks.
• Can do attitude and a willingness to be hands on.
• Ability to present information in a concise and professional manner.
• Must be comfortable working with a high degree of change and ambiguity

Nice to have:

• Experience of working with Salesforce and Netsuite
• Experience in technology and/or a SaaS business
