The Metropolitan Opera is seeking a highly qualified, experienced AGMA Opera Stage Manager.
The ideal candidate for this position will become an integral part of a tightly knit team of stage managers. Candidates must demonstrate the capacity to solve problems creatively to support the artistic process of producing opera at one of the world’s leading opera companies. We are seeking a trustworthy person who is adept at interpersonal communication and diplomacy in a high stress, fast-paced environment. Calmness and kindness under pressure is a must.
The Stage Management team, in coordination with stage, artistic, and technical staff is charged with producing a quality product on a short timeline.
