About the Role:

The Director of Operations in the Office of the CEO will partner with company leadership to support efficient business operations and execute on high-priority initiatives. You will also manage the operations in the Office of the CEO with the goal of operating a tightly run OOCEO, maximizing time and efficiency for the CEO and Chief of Staff (COS). You will work closely with the executive assistants for the CEO and COS to help coordinate and execute priorities seamlessly across the Office.

The ideal candidate is a problem solver, is adept at establishing strong relationships in a highly matrixed environment, can execute through ambiguity with moderate direction, and can build strong cross-functional relationships at multiple levels of the organization. You will report directly to the Chief of Staff and will be based in New York City at our headquarters.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing operations for the Office of the CEO smoothly
  • Regularly refining and improving systems and processes to make the CEO and OOCEO more effective
  • Distilling insights from data, navigating through ambiguity and complexity, presenting actionable recommendations, and solving problems within a given project scope
  • Ownership of agenda development for Executive Committee and Senior Leadership Team meetings, ensuring coordinated scheduling, and managing the execution of meetings
  • Ensuring the CEO calendar (daily/monthly/annual) and schedule is optimized, and each moment is used well and highly efficiently
  • Managing advance schedule planning, looking months and quarters ahead
  • Drafting briefings to ensure the CEO is prepared for meetings and events, including highlighting important information and current blockers where decisions or input are needed
  • Drafting highly sensitive communications and emails for CEO — eg, executive email correspondences, memos to teams, talking points, internal company communications
  • Project management of CEO talking points and materials for key meetings and speaking engagements
  • Material tracking and management for board meetings
  • Support event planning and management for the COS and CEO

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of professional experience 
  • 3+ years of experience in an Operations, Strategy and Operations, Chief of Staff, or Management Consulting role
  • Background in developing and managing organizational systems and processes 
  • Demonstrated success in working through influence and partnership
  • Familiarity and comfort working in a deadline-focused, collaborative environment
  • Expertise in building relationships with people across all levels of staff, management, and external parties
  • Demonstrated history of maintaining a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information

The annual base pay range for this role is between:
$160,000$175,000 USD
