Role Overview

The Partner Services Specialist is a pivotal role within GuardMe Europe, responsible for delivering a broad range of partner and insurance support activities. These include managing timely enrolments, processing requests, and handling various administrative functions. The role also involves supporting sales initiatives, identifying opportunities, assisting in partner acquisition, and contributing to revenue growth. It is expected that Partner Services related activities will become more prominent once training has been successfully completed.

Excellence in customer service is a cornerstone of this position, ensuring partner queries and concerns are resolved efficiently and to their satisfaction. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, exercise sound judgement, and maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Success in this role requires setting priorities, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and delivering consistent, detail-oriented results with minimal supervision.

This role offers flexibility, including a hybrid working model, and requires a keen sense of responsibility, initiative, and commitment to high-quality output.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Administration

- Accurately process, record, and oversee new insurance policies in the business software system, ensuring no errors or irregularities.

- Maintain detailed and accurate notes for all interactions in the business software system.

- Act as an expert user of the business software system, supporting sales activities through reporting, analysis, and comparisons in Excel.

- Monitor customer receivables and coordinate with partner accounting teams to ensure timely payments.

- Provide reports and insights to GuardMe Europe CEO, business units, or Partners as needed.

- Prepare and submit expense reports promptly and in compliance with company policies.

- Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, HR, Compliance, Finance, and IT, to support company strategies and regulatory obligations.

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, Privacy, Data Protection, and promptly report any breaches.

 

Partner Services & Sales

- Respond promptly and accurately to incoming calls, emails, and chat communications, addressing enquiries, policy coverage, and claims.

- Maintain a strong knowledge of GuardMe’s offerings across a diverse range of markets and territories.

- Deliver exceptional customer service with high availability, responsiveness, and professionalism.

- Provide training on GuardMe Partners Portal which is an online partner-user interface, alongside targeted and ongoing partner support via Microsoft Teams, email, or phone.

- Support Sales Senior Managers in expanding GuardMe’s reach among schools, agencies, educational institutions and associations within the education industry.

- Promote and sell GuardMe’s suite of products and services effectively by representing the company at conferences, workshops, and industry event and delivering presentations as required.

- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key contacts in our 6 core markets, UK, Ireland, Malta, Italy, Spain and Germany at present.

- Manage the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to negotiation and closing alongside senior sales representatives within the team. Develop proposals and presentations tailored to prospective partner organisations.

- Produce regular reports and participate in leadership meetings.

- Analyse market trends and performance to provide actionable insights to the leadership team.

- Complete insurance accreditation exams and maintain continuous professional development. CPD commitments are essential within the insurance industry.

- Responsibility for ensuring partner queries are seen through to full resolution by liaising with relevant departments proactively.

- Undertake additional duties or projects as assigned.

 

Requirements

- Flexibility to work outside standard hours during peak business periods.

- Ability to work remotely and independently. This includes having a secure, and reliable internet connection to join videoconferencing calls.

- Maintain inventory, order supplies, and ensure the office area is tidy and confidential materials are secured when in head office spaces.

- Willingness to travel for work commitments.

 

Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in customer/client service or sales roles, reporting to senior management.

A degree or a professional qualification in Communications, Business, Insurance, or equivalent experience is advantageous.

- Experience in the international education industry, language schools, universities, or health/travel insurance is beneficial.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

Proficiency in Spanish, Italian and/or German is advantageous. Minimum requirement of at least one of the above noted languages in addition to English.

- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

- Strong interpersonal skills, with a professional and courteous approach to partner.

- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Ability to adapt and problem-solve in dynamic situations.
