The Learning & Organizational Development Specialist works closely with team members to develop, design, and deliver learning programs, in both English and Spanish. They are highly organized, self-motivated, energetic, proactive, creative, and highly efficient in completing tasks with attention to detail and quality. They improve and develop sustainable processes and procedures and possess excellent communication skills. The Specialist reports to the Director, L&OD in Los Angeles.

In addition to supporting enterprise-wide leadership and learning programs, the Specialist will support the Vice President, L&OD in an administrative capacity and manage Team operations.

This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Job Description

  • Lead the design, development, and facilitation of enterprise-wide in-person workshops and webinars, in English and Spanish.
    • Create engaging, high-quality training materials that align with business needs to support employee growth and development.
    • Customize content based on audience and objectives to maximize effectiveness.
    • Facilitate participative sessions for in-person and virtual audiences.
    • Utilize feedback and survey results to measure learning effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Determine appropriate learning and leadership interventions for BU-specific custom engagements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders at all levels to further employee learning, performance, and leadership development.
  • Serve as a program or project manager for learning programs and/or enterprise strategic initiatives.
    • Create and manage project plans and logistics, coordinate events, write and send communications, manage stakeholders at various levels, and assess program effectiveness and make recommendations.
  • Partner with all members of the L&OD team on various cross-functional projects.
  • Support the Vice President, Learning & Organizational Development in an administrative capacity, including calendar and travel management.
  • Manage L&OD Department operations, including the team calendar, team mailbox, bi-weekly team meetings and supplies.

Pay Rate: $75,000 to $82,500 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related field such as learning, organizational development, talent development, or training. 
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing and delivering learning programs in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in business, managing organizational change, organizational development or another related field.
  • Fluent and able to facilitate/deliver content in both English and Spanish languages.
  • Fast learner, action oriented, self-starter who is organized, resourceful and flexible, with superb attention to detail without supervision.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively as a team across various functions and work independently in an ambiguous, constantly changing environment with a relentlessly positive attitude.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and able to interact with employees at all levels of the organization in a positive and upbeat manner.
  • Excellent time management and follow-up skills, and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools (e.g., SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
