Senior Manager, Finance (Customer Success)

Toast is driven by building the all-in-one restaurant platform that helps restaurants operate their business, increase sales, engage guests, and keep employees happy. We are seeking a Senior Manager to play a critical role in supporting our Customer Success and Care organization. This role will partner closely with FP&A, Care Operations, Customer Experience Analytics, and Customer Success organizations. This is a high-impact role that will partner across teams with the opportunity to drive long-term shareholder value.

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

• Serve as the Finance business partner to key decision makers for Customer Success and Care, and partner with them in weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual strategic and financial planning discussions.
• Analyze business results, forecast to actual variances and trends, and communicate important takeaways and actionable insights, including identifying risks and opportunities
• Design, implement and track important metrics to measure performance against strategic goals, identify emerging trends and provide insights about the drivers of performance
• Collaborate across Care Operations, Customer Analytics, Customer Success, Customer Experience, and Business Intelligence to identify and understand complex relationships between key drivers of our business
• Act as a strategic partner, providing financial expertise and guidance on how to evaluate multiple investment opportunities to drive return on investment
• Complete ad-hoc business projects and financial modeling analysis that drive decision-making
• Frame and break down complex problems into key components, analyze large datasets to drive actionable insights
• Grow and develop a team of high performing financial professionals

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

• Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years of strategic finance, operational finance, FP&A, or investment banking experience at a high-growth tech company
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven success partnering and collaborating across a wide spectrum of stakeholders
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth and evolving environment
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Ability to build robust financial models used by teams throughout the company to size opportunities and build business cases for pursuing new initiatives
• Excellent communication skills; ability to distill complex analyses into structured outputs and present to all levels of management
• Track record of leading, growing, and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on hands-on development and coaching
