Creative Director

As part of the Marketing team, the Creative Director is responsible for management and execution o the Total Expert brand across internal and external channels, with a focus on marketing resources. The Creative Director is tasked with concepting and producing solutions that drive clear, informative, consistent information. Though Total Expert has an established brand, you will constantly monitor our creative output and continue to refine and advance the brand on a regular basis. You will bring strategic approaches to crafting cohesive, multi-channel campaigns, and ensure high standards for visual creative output while reporting to the Vice President, Marketing. You will manage the creative project workflow, overseeing intake of project requests from all departments at Total Expert and moving projects through discovery, scoping, creative resourcing, and through production.


This is a hybrid role with expectations to work on-site at our St. Louis Park, MN location 3 days per week.

 

As Creative Director you will:

·       Directly manage a small team of creatives, including both graphic designers and multimedia producers.

·       Execute and manage design needs for marketing and branding projects.

·       Lead the creative vision on marketing campaigns.

·       Manage creative projects and workflow (using Asana) in a fast-paced environment.

·       Manage creative contractors/agency partners as needed.

·       Contribute to creative strategy for trade shows and events.

·       Partner with the media and PR team to establish a clear and consistent social media brand for Total Expert.

·       Monitor effectiveness of creative assets through data analysis with the Revenue Operations team as well as regular feedback and discussion from the Go-To-Market teams.

 

What we are looking for:

·       Bachelor’s degree in art production or graphic design, or equivalent experience.

·       A minimum of 10 years’ digital experience, particularly with, but not limited to web, email campaigns, and social platforms.

·       A solid understanding of design, copy and web practices.

·       Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite.

·       Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills.

·       Have in-depth knowledge of multichannel marketing models.

·       Must be a creative and strategic thinker, with a strong ability to adapt.

·       A portfolio of your work.

·       Excellent presentation and demonstration skills 

·       Ability to prioritize tasks effectively

·       Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment

·       Adept at project management and cross-functional collaboration


Compensation/Benefits: The anticipated base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $150,000 annually. Final total compensation offered is dependent upon the selected individual's qualifications and experience. All regular full time employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance and other factors. As an employee of the company, you will be eligible to participate in the Employee Stock Option Plan.
