The Role
As someone who has already contributed to TravelPerk’s success, this internal opportunity allows you to further accelerate your career journey. We’re excited to invite you to step into the role of Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) for the UKI market. In this position, you’ll serve as the first point of contact for inbound leads generated via our marketing initiatives and strategic partnerships. Reporting directly to the SDR Manager, your main goal will be to nurture and qualify these prospects, ensuring a smooth handover to our sales team. This is your chance to work alongside a team of seasoned A-players in a dynamic, collaborative, and fun culture, with endless professional development possibilities.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Engaging Inbound Leads: Respond promptly to inquiries coming through our website, email, social media, and partnership channels.
  • Qualifying Prospects: Conduct discovery calls to assess if leads meet our criteria and schedule them for deeper consultations with the sales team.
  • Collaborating for Success: Work closely with Inbound marketing and partnership teams to refine outreach strategies and continuously improve the lead qualification process.
  • CRM Management: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all prospect interactions in Salesforce.
  • Developing Expertise: Build an expert-level understanding of TravelPerk’s offerings to confidently articulate our unique value proposition during discussions with Office Managers, CFOs, and Travel Managers.

What Will You Need to Succeed?

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a high level of English proficiency (native or near-native).
  • Inbound Sales Experience: A proven track record in handling inbound leads and qualifying prospects, ideally within a B2B or travel-related environment. 
  • Relationship Building: The ability to build credibility and rapport quickly over the phone and other channels.
  • Organisational Prowess: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple leads and maintain precise records in Salesforce.
  • Proactive and Resilient Attitude: A goal-oriented, resourceful mindset that thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while thinking outside the box to generate new leads.
  • Team Collaboration: An ability to work both independently and as a part of a high-performing team.
  • Market Insight: A passion for learning about our product and the evolving UKI market.

How we work
Our Vision is for a world where TravelPerk is the platform for human connection in real life (IRL). We take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in person 3 days a week. For roles in Customer Care, this can be up to 5 days per week in the office. As such, this role requires you to be within commuting distance of our hubs. We fundamentally believe in meeting in real life to improve connectivity, productivity, and creativity, ultimately making us a great workplace.
