True Classic is seeking an experienced and strategic Demand Planning Manager to join our Planning & Inventory team, with a primary focus on supporting our fast-growing wholesale business. This role is responsible for driving demand planning, inventory optimization, and end-to-end execution across key accounts such as Amazon and national wholesale partners. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time—maximizing revenue, minimizing risk, and supporting True Classic’s omni-channel growth strategy.

Key Areas of Accountability
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Own in-season forecasting across Amazon and wholesale accounts to meet or exceed sales, margin, and inventory KPIs.
- Develop, refine, and maintain demand planning models to improve forecast accuracy and responsiveness.
- Align forecasts with financial plans while identifying risks, opportunities, and inventory exposure.
- Drive collaborative forecast reviews with wholesale partners to ensure alignment with buying behaviors and ship windows.
S&OP Execution
- Lead cross-functional Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes—aligning Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations on forecast assumptions, inventory positions, and capacity planning.
- Facilitate recurring S&OP meetings with clear, actionable outcomes and data-driven insights.
Inventory Management & Replenishment
- Oversee inventory availability for wholesale partners, ensuring booking windows and fulfillment timelines are met.
- Monitor inventory health daily and adjust replenishment strategies as needed.
- Lead weekly allocation and replenishment cycles to ensure consistent product flow.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and support reconciliation activities to ensure data integrity.
Purchase Order & Allocation Management
- Maintain proactive communication with vendors to confirm and track wholesale POs and in-transit inventory.
- Own monthly Open-to-Buy (OTB) reviews, adjusting plans to meet seasonal demand and revenue goals.
- Recommend pricing actions and pack optimizations based on sell-through, WOH, and inventory position.
Reporting & Analysis
- Analyze performance metrics including sell-through, stock turn, and safety stock coverage.
- Provide timely reporting to cross-functional partners, surfacing insights and opportunities.
- Identify and drive process improvements in planning systems, reporting tools, and workflow automation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Wholesale Sales: Align forecasts with booked demand and support in-season rebuys and reorder opportunities.
- Merchandising & Production: Ensure timelines align with assortment plans and vendor commitments.
- Finance: Support margin and revenue planning through accurate demand assumptions and inventory controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 6+ years of demand planning experience in apparel or consumer products.
- Wholesale planning experience is required.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale planning operations tied to financial performance.
- Deep understanding of inventory planning, statistical forecasting, and merchandising lifecycles.
Skills and Competencies
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience with planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, NetSuite, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience operating across omni-channel and DTC/eCommerce environments.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving business.
- A continuous learner who thrives on driving innovation and process excellence.
