About the Role
An animation studio is seeking a professional film composer for their festival-bound stop motion short film. The project centers on a quirky romantic story set in 1990s New York City, requiring a blend of emotional orchestral scoring and punk rock elements.

Core Responsibilities:

• Compose original score for a stop motion animated short film
• Create recurring musical motifs that enhance storytelling
• Develop variations of themes throughout the film
• Compose an energetic punk rock-inspired finale
• Collaborate with the sound team during production

• Proven experience in film scoring
• Strong portfolio demonstrating range in musical styles
• Ability to compose both orchestral and rock genres
• Experience scoring for animation preferred
• Proficiency in professional music production software
• Strong storytelling abilities through musical composition
