About this role
This is a learning consulting role for a high-energy candidate with a track record for executing Sales & Customer Success performance programs. The successful candidate will have experience in working with executives and stakeholders across matrix organizations to consult, define and execute on strategic learning programs. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in speaking with leaders, analysis of data and visualisation with high impact presentation skills. This role will liaise with Sales & Customer Leaders to lead innovative programs with performance measurement for the Udemy Sales & Customer Success community based in Japan. These regional programs will be leveraged in multiple platforms and for different audiences and will be tightly aligned with global programs.
What you’ll be doing
Engage directly with the head of Sales & Customer Success and Japan operations. Understand the nuances of selling and consulting in the region. Create and execute learning programs to drive increased field productivity, increased ability to position Udemy’s evolving portfolio and strategy, improved field operating margins, increased pipeline capabilities and improved transition of opportunities to sales.
Act as a trusted advisor to extended global enablement team and business leadership to assess the field’s skills to target performance improvements at the global and regional and team level and tie that to performance improvement plans.
Create a learning vision that delivers a strong performance driven learning experience for our Japan field, offering personalized learning, in multiple modalities, for ease of consumption and preferred learning styles.
Develop and execute high impact, targeted programs with strong Net Promoter Scores, learning assessments and drive adoption of the programs.
Understand and utilise a data driven approach to field performance initiatives, leveraging the extensive suite of enablement programs where appropriate.
Drive clear business impact from every program with strong analysis of performance tied to learning program consumption.
Input to Asana/Jira to ensure the Field Enablement Dashboard is up to date for tracking & impact measurement. Create a Japan enablement calendar and own a monthly Japan Field Readiness Council.
Liaise with cross functional teams (marketing, operations, HR, product) to ensure programs are relevant and timely.
What you’ll have
3+ years professional experience in sales enablement or related field
Knowledge of adult corporate learning theories
Understand cultural nuances of selling in Japan
Record of driving innovative, creative concepts from strategy to execution
Understand sales performance metrics and best measurement approach
Ability to think strategically and execute with attention to detail
Strong customer-facing skills and experience
Experience partnering with C level executives
