As a Medical Administrative Assistant at Unilabs NL, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and accurate medical processes that directly support better patient care. You’ll operate at the interface of administration and healthcare, working closely with medical professionals to manage patient results, schedule diagnostic procedures, and maintain efficient communication with healthcare providers.
You will join a dynamic and supportive team that values initiative, precision, and collaboration. In this role, your input will help drive smarter workflows and improvements in how we deliver care. Initially based in Utrecht, the position will relocate to our modern and accessible Amsterdam-West office later this year.
Responsabilities:
- Process patient results and enter medical data into internal systems.
- Schedule diagnostic appointments and coordinate with patients.
- Maintain telephone and written contact with GPs and specialists.
- Operate and read medical devices to support clinical diagnosis.
- Monitor turnaround times and flag bottlenecks in workflow.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in the Biometrics & Imaging department.
- Contribute to administrative process improvements and digital innovation.
- Completed MBO Level 4 education (preferably in administration or healthcare).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work discreetly with sensitive data.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized in busy situations.
- Clear, professional communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement.
- Flexibility and willingness to occasionally travel to other locations.
- English and Dutch language skills.
