Job Description:

Introduction to Religious Studies offers a critical examination of the essential dimensions of religious experience across a wide variety of faith traditions. The course emphasizes:

• Shared themes and practices across global religions
• The influence of religion on contemporary societal values
• The ethical responsibilities of individuals in a global context

• A graduate degree (MA or PhD) in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field; or current enrollment in a Religious Studies/Theology PhD program
• A demonstrated commitment to teaching and student engagement
• Prior teaching experience in higher education is strongly preferred

The allotted salary for this position is $1000 per credit
