About the Role

At Venn, our Senior Implementation Managers, facilitate and motivate at every stage in the implementation process, from tech-stack through delivery. The Senior Implementation Manager oversees the implementation process from the beginning until the end, collaborating with all departments to successfully launch solutions for enterprise customers. We set the groundwork, provide the tools and work collaboratively with the Sales, Customer Success, Product and other teams to launch the Venn platform for new customers. This includes resourcing a team, setting timelines, managing various approvals (stakeholders, legal, executives, as needed), and all other steps from project budget submission, logistics, and execution until handover to the Customer Success team. 

Additionally, the Senior Implementation Manager lends their expertise to identify internal process improvement areas and brings these improvement opportunities to fruition. They collaborate with the Head of Implementation to build department strategy, goals, KPIs and create internal dashboards and reporting. 

The responsibilities described below represent those the person in this role would be performing, but should not be considered an exhaustive list - this position is highly flexible in its focus areas!

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and execute day-to-day implementation activities to ensure seamless execution and workflow management for cross-functional projects. 
  • Develop and maintain project schedules that define resources, activities, and deliverables. 
  • Conduct complex enterprise-level solution configurations and provide guidance to consultants on best practices, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to industry standards.
  • Lead client facing meetings and training sessions
  • Hold teams accountable for delivering on project plans, and remove roadblocks that interfere with project success.
  • Manage communications, Monday boards, daily status reports, and meeting notes
  • Work with other teams such as product, development, and customer success to clarify the scope and resourcing needed for projects.
  • Lead weekly implementation team meetings, ensuring the team is on track for daily/weekly deliverables. 
  • Track Budget, timelines, and tasks. 
  • Collaborate with Head of Implementation to create strategic quarterly plans and provide internal reporting on Implementation team goals and KPIs
  • Identify areas of opportunity for process improvement and lead initiatives for optimize implementation methodologies and enhance efficiency 
  • Identify skill gaps and create personalized development plans to enhance the team's capabilities and ensure continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience (5 - 10 years) in leading and managing enterprise-level SaaS implementations
  • Prop-tech, real estate technology, multi-family or startup experience preferred
  • Proven success delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Independent and organized project manager with ability to handle multiple large enterprise-level projects at a time with a sense of urgency
  • Creative and strategic problem-solver
  • Collaborative team-player with ability to drive progress and influence cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to develop and nurture a high-performing and positive work environment
  • Skilled customer-relationship manager with an ability to connect with internal and external stakeholders from technical roles to C-suite executives
  • Self-motivated, disciplined go-getter
  • Expert verbal and written communication 
    • Be an advocate for open and transparent communication
    • Build partnerships and strong relationships across departments
    • Actively contribute to project working sessions
    • Deliver written and oral communications in an organized and structured manner
  • Proficiency with Google Suite collaboration tools 
  • Experience using project management tracking tools, Hubspot, Netsuite, Smartsheets, Monday.com is required 
  • ~15% travel required

This role is preferably based in our NYC office (hybrid schedule 3 days office, 2 days at home). For New York-based candidates, this position has an estimated annual salary range of $120,000 - $140,000, plus benefits and opportunities for equity. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors such as certifications. We welcome direct conversations with each candidate about compensation in all of our initial calls.
