Senior Research Associate

The Company You’ll Join: It is our mission to create an exceptional firm that betters the world of work. Through granular candidate insights, in-depth employer benchmarking, continuous market pulses, actionable strategies, and recruiting feedback platforms, the team at Veris Insights is advancing the way companies across North America approach recruiting, employer branding, DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), and talent management. We work with hundreds of Fortune 1000 organizations to help them solve their hardest talent challenges and it is our aspiration to be nothing less than the single, unequivocal best partner to every one of these leaders in that pursuit.

The Team You’ll Join: Veris Insights’ University Recruiting Research Team uses a variety of methodologies to develop timely, nuanced insight into the college-to-career pathway. We create strategic studies on pressing challenges in the Talent Acquisition space, student pulses enhanced with primary source interviews of both candidates and employers, and tactical tools that help translate data into practice. We leverage these insights into current and emerging industry best practices to make the work of recruiting teams more effective, efficient, and equitable.

What You'll Do: Senior research associates are responsible for creating strategic research projects on key topics in the university recruiting space using our proprietary data, themes from qualitative interviews, and reputable third-party sources. This includes designing survey instruments, overseeing data collection, conducting interviews with students or employers as needed, synthesizing key insights from multiple sources of data and crafting compelling narratives with data visuals that quickly and intuitively convey the most impactful information our audience must know.

The Senior Research Associate will work closely with other senior researchers, our member-facing teams, and other leaders across the firm to design research deliverables with our members’ (clients) key challenges in mind.

How You’ll Grow: The Syndicated Research function invests significant trust in associates to develop and produce reports that are highly impactful to member strategy. Our culture of data-driven innovation provides every member of the team with a supportive environment for problem-solving and creative approaches to emerging challenges.

Veris Insights has grown quickly over the past few years, and the key to that growth has been an incredible team of motivated, collaborative people. We are looking for our new teammates to grow along with us.

Your Character:

Inquisitiveness. You are eager to learn and acquire new skills. You enjoy problem-solving and tackling new challenges.

You are excited and motivated by an organization that encourages leadership and self-reliance as we continue to grow.

A service-first mindset. The culture that built Veris Insights is centered around service, both to the members whom we support and to our fellow team members. You value collaboration and seek to use your skills to help others on the team and beyond.
