About the role 🖥️
  • As the VIP Consignment and Retail Business Director based in Paris, you will lead our team of VIP Consignment account managers in Paris and London, overseeing our white glove hassle-free VIP consignment service for sellers. You will also be in charge of managing our global retail business. You need to ensure our owned and consigned supply sells as fast as possible at the best price possible, focusing on pricing and sales strategy, supported by a team of pricing experts and a business analyst. You will report directly into the President and Co-Founder of Vestiaire Collective.


What you will do 👜
  • We are looking for an exceptional Director to lead our VIP Consignment and Retail Business team based in Paris, France.

  • Lead the VIP Consignment service in Europe and UK, ensuring a seamless selling experience for VIP sellers through personalized support and efficient management of the consignment process. You are the owner of the VIP Consignment P&L and in charge to drive the strategy to grow the business while balancing healthy profit margins. Key priorities include:
  • Run a team of dedicated, passionate, and result-oriented VIP Consignment Account Managers. Ensure the development of the team to create a positive, growth-focused team of talented people across our two regions
  • Drive VIP client acquisition and retention by managing the marketing strategy, setting objectives and a framework for events, social and influencer campaigns, marketing and commercial activations. You are in charge of the VIP Consignment marketing calendar and budget, working closely with our marketing team
  • Ensure we attract desirable supply that sells fast. We want to fuel the Vestiaire Collective marketplace with the most sought-after luxury fashion items to meet our buyers’ demand
  • Secure the right support from Vestiaire Collective’s operations, product and tech teams to ensure we offer the best white glove service to our VIP luxury clients
  • Work closely with the VIP Consignment team in the US, where the service recently got launched and is set out to be a key growth lever for Vestiaire Collective in the US, one of Vestiaire Collective’s big bets in 2025

  • Lead Vestiaire Collective’s retail business, ensuring our owned and consigned supply sells as fast as possible at the best price possible. Key priorities include:
  • Build the sales strategy, setting objectives, strategies and a framework of tactics to ensure strong sales of our owned and consigned supply on the Vestiaire Collective marketplace
  • Develop and implement a pricing strategy to maximize sales efficiency, maintain healthy inventory levels, and balance margin and cash flow
  • Lead a team of three pricing experts who are in charge of pricing the supply from the VIP Consignment and Brand Partnerships businesses
  • Support the team’s junior business analyst who is in charge of supporting the VIP Consignment and Brand Partnerships businesses with data analysis and performance monitoring

  • To succeed in this role, you must have a strategic and creative mind, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and to be results driven
  • You can blend strategic thinking, with hands-on execution, and you have strong collaboration skills. Key requirements include an entrepreneurial mindset with initiative and accountability for achieving business objectives
  • Proven track record in people management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to lead a 12+ people team, serve as escalation contact for VIP top luxury clients, and to partner effectively with key stakeholders across functions like marketing, merchandising, CRM, supply, operations, finance, product and tech teams
  • Successful in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced e-commerce environment
